I’ve spent five years helping people buy homes, and most of that time has been spent with first-time buyers right here in Metro Detroit. Before going out on my own I worked in an office doing cold calls and living off referrals — which taught me a lot about how to talk to people, and also exactly what I did not want this to feel like.
So I built My Loan Strategist to do it the other way. No call center, no script, no handing you off to somebody else halfway through. One name, one number, from the first conversation to the day you get the keys.
I’m an independent broker, which matters more than it sounds. I’m not tied to one bank’s products, so I can look across multiple lenders and bring you options. I work sponsored by Loan Factory, which means you get the reach of a national platform with the attention of a one-man shop.
Most of my clients are buying their very first home. There is nothing quite like the moment someone realizes homeownership is actually within reach — and getting to hand them the plan that makes it happen is why I do this.
How I actually work

That is not a slogan, it is the whole method. Your credit, your savings, your timeline, your income shape — none of them are identical to the last person I helped. So the plan should not be either. Finding the advantage inside your actual circumstances is the part of this job I care about most.

You’ll find a few things on this site that help you get oriented: a readiness check that tells you where you are in the process, a library of plain-language guides, and a place to ask a question in your own words.
Those exist for one reason — so you can walk into our first conversation already understanding your own situation, instead of starting from zero. They are education. They do not decide anything, and they cannot tell you what you qualify for.
Every real answer about your situation comes from me, personally. There is no version of this where a tool replaces a conversation with a person who does this every day.
